Raymond Starks-Taylor is an associate attorney supporting the firm’s business litigation and corporate law practice groups.
Mr. Starks-Taylor has practiced law since 2019 and has extensive legal experience. Prior to joining Briglia Hundley®, he was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Fairfax County where he prosecuted numerous criminal cases and gained invaluable courtroom experience, including trying several jury trials. Before joining the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Mr. Starks-Taylor was an attorney adviser for the U.S. Small Business Administration where he managed COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans and other programs designed to help small businesses overcome disasters. Mr. Starks-Taylor began his legal career as an associate attorney at a law firm in Iowa where he advised small business owners, litigated civil matters, and defended clients facing criminal charges.
Mr. Starks-Taylor received his undergraduate degree from Drake University in 2016. He then graduated from Drake University Law School in 2019. While at Drake University Law School, he served as a student attorney in the Drake Legal Clinic where he represented indigent clients. He was also the research editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law.
